welcome to the nu mu chapter of kappa kappa psi!
At the heart of every great band lies more than just music—it’s the leadership that guides, the service that uplifts, the musicianship that inspires, and the brotherhood that binds us all together. Here at our chapter, we don’t just simply play music; we live it, lead with it, and use it as an active catalyst to serve our community.
Founded on the pillars of Leadership, Musicianship, and Service, our chapter strives to leave a lasting impact both inside and outside of the band room. We believe in the power of music to unite people, the strength of service to make a lasting difference, and the importance of leadership to inspire others to reach new heights. Yet, at the core of everything we do is brotherhood—a bond that transcends time itself.
"Striving to Serve & Serving to Strive"
Our chapter has fashioned an original motto that builds upon the concept of continuous improvement and commitment expressed in our goal to strive for the highest. It creates a symbiotic relationship between service and personal growth, emphasizing that each enhances the other. Just as a brother cannot fully live out our purpose without the support of a fellow, like-minded brotherhood, our mission to serve is rendered incomplete without personal growth—and personal growth itself feels out of reach when we neglect the act of serving others.

The Nu Mu chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi proudly stands as the 324th instantiation of this historic and influential fraternity. While our chapter may be relatively young compared to the decades of legacy that came before us, we hold ourselves to the same high standards of excellence, musicianship, and service that define the brothers who paved the way. Being part of such a rich history inspires us to push boundaries, embrace growth, and continually strive for greater heights. Though our story is still being written, our commitment to leadership, brotherhood, and the ideals of Kappa Kappa Psi ensures that Nu Mu contributes meaningfully to the fraternity’s enduring legacy. For us, being the 324th chapter isn’t just a number—it’s a call to honor the past, uphold the present, and build a future that will inspire generations to come.
